Have you injured or broken a tooth, or have you lost or broken a restoration such as a filling or a crown? If so, we can provide you with emergency dental care to repair the damage.
With dental injuries, especially broken or knocked-out teeth, it’s very important to get emergency care right away. Teeth can sometimes be saved if you get to a dentist quickly after they are injured. If you have a dental emergency, contact us as soon as you can and we’ll do our best to see you that day.
If a tooth has been avulsed or knocked out by trauma, it may be able to be replanted if it can be seen and treated within 60 minutes of the injury. Transport the tooth in a toothsaver kit (balanced saline solution which many sports teams have in their emergency kit), saline, inside your cheek or in milk (storing the tooth dry or in water is not advised).
For cracked or lost fillings a piece of softened sugarless chewing gum can be placed over the damaged area to provide protection until you can get treatment.
